I'm Banned! Now What?

Got a live ban?

Live bans are almost always temporary. Don't panic, and don't keep hopping on and off — here's the move:

1. Appeal it in the app. Open the ban notice in TikTok and submit your appeal / ticket right away. That's what starts the clock on getting it reviewed.
2. Wait it out. Give the ban time to clear instead of forcing new lives. Repeated attempts during a ban can dig the hole deeper.

FYP restricted instead?

An FYP restriction means your LIVE stops getting pushed to new viewers — it's usually per-session. First move: end the live, wait a couple of minutes, and restart to clear it. Then fix the root cause so it doesn't keep happening. The big three that trip it:

• Static or low-quality visuals. No frozen images, "BRB" screens, or dark, empty shots as your whole live. TikTok wants something actually happening on screen.
• Asking for gifts. Don't beg, run gift goals, or frame support as pay-to-play — TikTok flags gift solicitation and can cut your reach or your gifting access. Let it happen naturally and focus on the room.
• Messy group lives. In battles and multi-guest rooms, anything sexual, vulgar, or objectifying used to pull gifts gets flagged fast.
